Exceptional Tile Installations: Hear It from Our Clients

This tile fireplace surround creates subtle interest as an element of the room’s focal point.

Nothing communicates the expertise and professionalism a tile installation contractor provides as effectively as positive feedback in the form of reviews from satisfied clients. Genuine praise from the homeowners we have served holds more weight and authenticity than any advertisement we could create. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a handful of reviews, some that included images, that highlighted certain aspects of the exceptional results our clients experienced with our kitchen, bathroom, and other tile installation services.

“Not one flaw…”

On every project, we strive to come as close to a perfect tile installation as possible, while acknowledging challenges along the way. Sharon, a client in Pismo Beach, took note of this in her review, saying, “He made recommendations that improved the appearance even when it meant more intricate work for him.”

Unless we are working in a home that will be unoccupied for the duration of a project, we do what we can to minimize disruption to our client’s normal routine. Sharon appreciated this and included in her review that we were respectful of her home and cleaned up every day before we left.

Although we do not advertise absolute perfection, our clients sometimes do!  Sharon wrote, “not one flaw or a tile even slightly out of place.”

“Complicated mosaic design…”

We are always delighted when we have the opportunity to work on unique projects. It keeps things interesting. For clients, the tile becomes a conversation-starter with guests and neighbors. For us, a challenging installation creates an opportunity to keep our skills sharp and compare notes with our peers in the industry.

Diane, our Atascadero client, had excellent taste in her glass mosaic tile selection. This tile was a little bit more difficult to work with than other types of tile for a few different reasons. Since it is translucent, the appearance of the substrate is more important than normal. It’s more prone to breakage during installation, so it must be handled with extra care. Achieving precise cuts with small tiles requires meticulous attention to detail.

We were glad that Manny, a talented installer on our team, had the chance to demonstrate his installation expertise.

“They weathered all the snags…”

Although we understand that homeowners can sometimes successfully DIY simple tile projects on their own, the truth is that many seemingly basic projects end up being a lot more complicated than anticipated. We can and do take the time to explain this, when the need arises, but some people might assume we do this to discourage DIY projects for our own selfish reasons.

This countertop-to-ceiling backsplash creates a beautiful accent wall.

When our clients, such as Liza, from San Luis Obispo, voice such challenges on our behalf, it carries different weight.

Liza wrote, “My walls were wonky, my ceiling was really not square, and they weathered all the snags and seriously delivered!”

We had the chance to visit this project after all the finishing touches were completed.

We were so impressed with the way the marble tile the Liza chose for the full wall backsplash compliments the other finishes in this kitchen.

“A knockout job…”

Sometimes homeowners try DIY demo work ahead of our tile installation services. As with DIY tile projects, we don’t want to be negative and discouraging, but we do want to be sure our clients understand that demo work can be difficult and messy.

David, a client in Templeton, was not only very pleased with our bathroom remodeling services, but his eyes were opened to the potential mess demolition work might have created had we not put proper barriers and dust removal systems in place. He wrote about our “fantastic demo work” and said we kept the rest of the home “clean and dust free,” doing “a knockout job.”

We created a case study about this project, including a walk-through video. Have a look!

“A creative partnership…”

AnnMarie from Cambria, CA crafted one of the most eloquent and thoughtful reviews we have ever received. Read it for yourself:

We met Adam Copher from Copher Tile and Stone as we were embarking on a full house remodel (down to the studs). We converted a dated 1980s home into a mid-century modern style home that featured special hand crafted, dimensional tile and stone. It was important to us to make sure the installer was thoughtful, paid close attention to detail and appreciated the uniqueness of the material they were working with. From the moment I met Adam and did a walk through I could tell Copher Tile and Stone was what we were looking for. Adam spent hours with me making sure the layout was what I wanted. He helped educate me on what would look and function the best. I felt like it was a creative partnership that in the end produced gorgeous results. I have since sent photos to the tile manufactures and their response was, please tell us who your installer was because he is “a true talent”. Copher Tile and Stone treats their work with pride and as a craft and it shows. We happily give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them to anyone.

“A beautiful end result…”

We really appreciate it when our clients take pictures of our work, once they have all of their normal belongings and decor in place and post them along with their review. Although we snapped a couple of photos before leaving the job site (see below), we encourage you to view the images Heather from Arroyo Grande shared.

She wrote, “Adam and his team did an amazing job. They have excellent attention to detail, are friendly and trustworthy, and created a beautiful end result. We will definitely use them for future projects.”
